Emma qualified as an adult nurse in 1998, and initially worked for the NHS in tertiary referral centres working in Neuro Intensive Care and subsequently Neuro rehabilitation, with some time working in emergency surgery, emergency medicine and vascular surgery. She began her case manage career in 2012 and originally joined Bridge Case Management in 2013, before taking a slight hiatus in 2019 to explore new horizons. Emma has now returned to Bridge bringing new skills learned in delivering Higher Education (Nursing and Nurse Associates) and a return to the NHS, to supplement her existing knowledge.

Emma develops rehabilitation packages that are truly client centred and take an holistic approach to rehabilitation. Emma uses her extensive knowledge of trauma rehabilitation, as well as research based motivational techniques and teaching skills to create a robust relationship with the client and enable them to reach their rehabilitation goals. She ensures clear lines of communication between all parties involved and cultivates a multidisciplinary team approach to rehabilitation.

Her caseload includes clients with polytrauma, complex orthopaedic injuries, brain injuries and complex co-morbidities.
Emma is a keen outdoor enthusiast and loves nothing more than spending time in nature with her family and her horses.
